YK-11 is a synthetic steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (steroidsarm). It is a 5-α-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) based steroid compound, which is a gene selective and partial agonist of the androgen receptor (AR). YK11 is the only SARM so far able to increase the expression of the activin binding protein Follistatin (FST) and plays a key role in the right induction anabolic effects of FST. YK11 has the chemical formula C25H34O6 and a molecular mass of 430.541 g·mol−1.
HOW YK11 WORKS, IMPACT MECHANISM
YK11 has a chemical structure similar to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) from which it is derived, and both YK11 and DHT hormones bind to androgen receptors (AR). However, unlike DHT, YK11 does not cause the physical interaction between NTD/AF1 and LBD/AF2 (also known as N/C interaction) required for full transactivation of Ar. In other words, YK11 partially activates Ar without N/C interaction. This partial (limited) activation of androgen receptors increases the catabolic activity in the body. However, YK11 also induces expression of Follistatin (FST), an autocrine glycoprotein that is a potent inhibitor of myostatin effects, a protein that inhibits muscle growth. Thus, the resulting strong anabolic effect of YK11 is thought to be primarily due to the induction of Follistatin expression, which blocks the effects of myostatin. The resulting anabolic activity of YK11 in C2C12 myoblasts is stronger than the anabolic activity of DHT.
YK11 AND BODYBUILDING
Thanks to its unique ability to induce follistatin and significantly help build muscle mass, YK11 has also become a topic of interest for bodybuilders. However, YK11 is not an approved nutritional supplement or stimulant for athletes. This is an experimental substance, so far little scientifically studied. In addition, the possible side effects of YK11 have not yet been scientifically investigated (at all). This means that experimental, unscientific use (abuse) like yk11 can be extremely risky or dangerous.
POSSIBLE BENEFITS OF YK11 SCIENTIFICALLY RESEARCHED
Significant and selective anabolic effect on muscles and bones (osteogenicity)
Ability to induce follistatin expression
Can effectively help build muscle mass
May help strengthen bones
What is YK11?
YK11 is a synthetic steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (steroidsarm). It is a 5-α-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) based steroid compound, which is a gene selective and partial agonist of the androgen receptor (AR).
Does YK11 have strong side effects?
YK11 is an experimental substance, so far it has been little studied scientifically. In addition, the possible side effects of YK11 have not yet been scientifically investigated (at all). It is not excluded that it can cause serious side effects (especially similar to those seen with steroid use).
What is the half-life of YK11?
Due to very little scientific study of YK11, its half-life has not yet been professionally studied and determined. However, scientifically unsubstantiated and unconfirmed estimates by experienced bodybuilders who have tried with yk11, posted on the Internet, most often mention a half-life of 8 to 10 hours.
Is YK11 low testosterone?
The bodybuilding community on the Internet has experienced and reported on YK11 mild testosterone suppression.
Does YK11 cause Follistatin production?
YK11 also induces the expression of Follistatin (FST), an autocrine glycoprotein that is a potent inhibitor of Myostatin effects, a protein that inhibits muscle growth.
What are the side effects of YK11?
YK11 is an experimental substance, so far it has been little studied scientifically. In addition, the possible side effects of YK11 have not yet been scientifically investigated (at all). But on the internet the bodybuilding community has experienced and reported regarding some typical side effects of YK11 that occur with steroid use: mild testosterone suppression, fatigue, low energy level, aggression, joint pain, excessive hair loss or mild acne.
Is YK11 steroids?
YK-11 is a synthetic steroid compound made by changing the chemical structure of DHT. In contrast, other common SARMs have a nonsteroidal nature. YK11 and common SARMs work differently in the body and may also have different side effects. YK-11 has a structure that shares more with steroids than known SARMs.
Is YK11 liver toxic?
YK11 can be potentially toxic to the liver as it is derived from DHT. However, some users have reported that they took blood tests during YK11 cycles and the results showed no signs of serious liver damage.
Due to very few scientific studies with YK11 to date, there is no official scientific data on its dosage. And the only source of information about YK11 dosing is the experience of bodybuilders and people who have experimented with using YK11 at their own risk, posted on the Internet.
Bodybuilders and users who have used YK11 to build muscle mass, most often report as the recommended dose at which significant results in muscle growth have been achieved, the total amount of YK11 at 10-15mg per day, divided into two daily doses.
We emphasize that YK11 is not an approved nutritional supplement or stimulant for athletes. It is an experimental substance, so far it has been little scientifically studied, and its possible side effects have yet to be studied. Note that the YK11, like all our other products, is sold for scientific and research clinical use only.
